The exact cause for Rheumatoid arthritis is not yet known, What is known is that it is an autoimmune disease that women are three times more likely to contract it then men and that there often seems to be a genetic factor involved. Until recently diet has not been credited with playing a part in this disease, however there seems to be a growing school of thought that eating habits and eating or not eating certain foods may have a bearing on the this disease.
