Can calamine lotion be used to treat ringworm?

No, Ringworm is a fungal infection of the skin and should be treated with an anti fungal treatment. Calamine is not an anti fungal.

     Wash your skin gently and thoroughly with a natural, preservative-free soap. You can find natural soap at any natural foods market in the shampoo section. Remember not to scrub the skin when you wash your face, simply lather your hands, gently apply the soap to your wet skin, lather your face and rinse with clean water.

     Dry your face with a clean towel. Apply Calamine lotion to a cotton swab and dab a little bit of the Calamine lotion directly to the acne blemishes. You can apply more than one coat if you like. Let the Calamine lotion dry and leave it on overnight.

     Wash your face as usual the next morning, rinsing the Calamine lotion off of your skin. Apply the lotion as needed every night until the blemishes go away. You should see a marked improvement in about a week.
