You may not, it just depends on your work comp states law and your company's insurance. First of all it has to be determined to be work related from your job. Then you have to show/prove that you have an impairment (typically determined after carpal tunnel surgery by a specialist) If your are given an impairment rating, say of 5% to the right hand, then this is typically given a dollar amount based on your job/occupation etc..for your state.
