Yes, Excedrin can generally be taken 12 hours after taking Celebrex, as there are no direct interactions between the two medications. However, both medications can have effects on the gastrointestinal system, so it's important to monitor for any unusual symptoms. Always consult with a healthcare professional for personalized advice, especially if you have underlying health conditions or are taking other medications.
No... you should avoid anti-inflammatory drugs while taking Celebrex. Excedrin contains aspirin which might lead to suppress the "gastric protection" from celebrex. This is not a major interaction, but if you're older or at risk of gastric events, you should avoid those 2 drugs together. You may try "Tylenol Ultra relief" which contain acetaminophen and caffeine, without aspirin.
Yes, you can typically take Mobic (meloxicam) four hours after taking Excedrin, as there are no direct interactions between the two medications. However, it's important to consider that both medications can affect the gastrointestinal system and may increase the risk of gastrointestinal side effects when taken together. Always consult your healthcare provider or pharmacist for personalized advice, especially if you have any underlying health conditions or are taking other medications.

Yes they can. I am currently taking Celebrex - 200mg twice daily and penicillin - 500mg 4 times daily. I just took both my Celebrex at the same time, then immediately took the penicillin. They should be perfectly safe together, as long as you follow instructions.
Excedrin is a brand name of OTC (over the counter) pain reliever that contains Ibuprofen and caffeine (used as an enhancer for the drug) because Ibuprofen can be hard on the liver it is recommended that you wait 6-8 hours between doses, where as Acetaminophen (Tylenol) can be taken every 3-4 hours, it can also be taken in between doses of Ibuprofen. Of course it is important to mention that even OTC drugs have the potential to be harmful if taken improperly and you may want to consult a Doctor.
Loratab contains the narcotic hydrcodone; Celebrex is non-narcotic. for the second part of this question: ask a doctor.
Yes. Omeprazole (Prilosec) does not interfere with either the triptan medications or over the counter marketed pain relievers such as Excedrin/Excedrin Migraine. In fact, when omeprazole is taken with aspirin (which is found in Excedrin) it has been shown to protect against the potential for creating ulcers.
I have found that mixing the two increases the effects of the oxy. Not a good combination though if you are taking oxy apap due to the fact that two excedrin has 500mg of acetaminophen in it that is simply too much tylenol in that case I would use ibuprofen instead. Keep ur head on straight and stay safe.
I guess... I hope... Because I do. And it was validated by at least 3 DRs...
after 1and a half hours
I was taking 200 mg of Celebrex per day. A Cardiologist insisted I start taking the 8.7 aspirin daily. A mo. after starting taking the aspirin, I hemorrhaged inside, spent three days in the hospital, and now have Colitis also. I bled because the combination of Celebrex and aspirin made my blood too thin. I was taken off the aspirin and Celebrex but a few months later started taking 100 mg of Celebrex and I do not take any aspirin. I have been fine for 6 months now. The low dose of Celebrex is much easier for your system to handle than the 200 mg. and I would never recommend anyone take aspirin while taking NSAIDs.
Yes, both drugs can be taken together if both are required and prescribed for you.
