Most inhalants have the potential to cause brain damage. These include solvents, such as correction fluid, aerosols and butane gas for cigarette lighters.
Inhaling substances can cause serious health risks such as heart failure, seizures, and sudden death. The chemicals in inhalants can damage the brain, liver, kidneys, and bone marrow. Short-term effects include dizziness, nausea, impaired coordination, and hallucinations.
Inhalants can produce mind-altering and pleasurable effects such as stimulation and decreased inhibition, but they can also produce a number of unwanted side effects. Inhalants work much like anesthetics on the brain, which means they slow down the body's systems, including respiration. They can interfere with the heart's rhythm and cause heart failure, resulting in death. Less severe, but irreversible hazards of chronic exposure to inhalants are brain damage, nerve damage, hearing loss, bone marrow damage, and damage to heart, lungs, liver, and kidneys.
Inhalants are not hallucinogenic. One exception could be nitrous oxide but it is different from what most people refer to as inhalants (computer duster, butane etc) as it doesn't inherently cause damage where as other inhalants do.
Inhalants such as glue, paint thinner, and gasoline are substances commonly sniffed to produce hallucinogenic effects. These substances can cause feelings of euphoria, disorientation, and altered sensory perceptions when inhaled. However, they also pose serious health risks and can lead to addiction, organ damage, and even death.
Almost all inhalants cause permanent brain damage resulting from either the inhalation of the gas itself or lack of oxygen. This brain damage manifests itself as staggering, slurring of words, and mental retardation.
Inhalants are substances that are sniffed or huffed to produce a high. Common ingredients include solvents (such as paint thinner or gasoline), aerosol sprays, household cleaners, and nitrous oxide. These substances can cause serious health effects, including brain damage and even death.
It causes damage to the Esophagus and your lungs also.
Inhalants are dangerous because they can cause serious damage to the brain, heart, liver, and other organs. They can also lead to addiction, as well as other long-term health effects such as memory loss, coordination problems, and neurological damage. Inhalants can be especially harmful when used in high doses or for prolonged periods of time.
Inhalants can be dangerous because they can cause a rapid and intense high that can lead to dizziness, hallucinations, and loss of consciousness. Inhalants can also cause damage to the brain, liver, kidneys, and other organs, as well as potentially result in addiction and even death from overdose.
Yes inhalants are stimulants because they cause hyperactivity. Therefore they are stimulants.
inhalants can cause health hazards like respiratory infections, allergic reactions, asthma etc.drug inhalants can cause CNS depressants effect.May be some skin infections.
