Not necessarily. Some people may be allergic to tree nuts, but not other kinds of nuts such as peanuts, and vice verse. Peanuts aren't really nuts they are legumes, grown underground. totally different allergy.
If you have a nut allergy then you should not eat nuts or nut products. Islam does not forbid the eating of nuts. However it does forbid eating something that is harmful to your health, which makes a great deal of sense. Obviously if you have a nut allergy then this is the case.
