It depends on your tolerance for pain... I have a mid level tolerance, when I broke my ulna in two I went to the ER and got a splint and got a cast the next day... It doesn't hurt if they gave you some painkiller... All in All No it does NOT hurt...
A broken arm is usually kept in a cast. sling

From the Doctor.
When you (for example) have broken your arm, they but a cast on it. lol
cast
the cast lets the broken bone stick together and it has to get used to it
the doctors put a cast on an arm or leg to immobilize the limb so it could heal adequately.
see a doctor, have an X-ray, get it cast.
it may rseults in a fractured or broken clavical because the force of the fall will be transferred to a joint and cause damage to the bone ..which in that case would be the clavical.
Bandages do not, however a cast or splint will. The key on a broken bone is to keep it stable and immobile to allow it to heal. If it is a compound fracture, bandages are used to stop bleeding and protect the wound from further damage.
depends... just be prepared to fall down :) - twisted ankle - broken heel - broken arm/leg - sore back
Go to a hospital, have it set and bandaged/put in a cast. wait for it to heal, remove cast, get on with life.
