my mother is having a hysterectomy ttommorow , yes people can die during or after the procedure you have a higher risk of dieting if you have diabietes or if your obese, also if the doctor burns organs on accident, I hope you or your family member does fine . I also hope my mom does fine too , I hope this helps :,(
