Generally a week after conception would be too early to detect pregnancy. First you have to conceive then said fertilized egg has to travel from the fallopian tube into the uterus and implant. This can take anywhere from 4-12 days. Then it takes around 2-4 days for your body to produce enough HCG to register on a pregnancy test. It would be too early right now to test and a waste of money. Either wait at least 5 more days or until your period is late.
