Can you get head lice without lice eggs?

First, a lice can fall or attach to someone's hair. Then, it lays eggs and the eggs turn into lice, THEN there is more and more lice. To treat lice, you just go to the store and buy some of the shampoo that they have. The intructions are all on the bottle or inside the box that it comes in. Trust me, you don't want to just leave it in your hair.

No. I did a science project on it and to have nits you need to have lice to have nits.

Head lice spread easily, since they are bugs, and mobile. Nits are the eggs laid by lice- they hatch into more lice. Lice are easy to kill with shampoo from the pharmacy, but combing the nits out of hair takes time.

The nits are white and are easier to see, as for the actual lice are brown and can be very difficult to find or see. Plus are very small. Hope this helps good luck!!
