No, generally you would not get scabies from kissing alone, because they are transmitted by direct skin-to-skin contact. Furthermore, they usually are not present above the neck on most adults. However, they can be transmitted from inanimate objects that have come in frequent/recent contact with an infested person, like bedding, clothing or furniture. If you've had close contact with someone who has scabies, you should probably see your doctor to be on the safe side. They can give you a cream that only needs to be applied once before bed and washed off in the morning. This will kill any mites that may have been transmitted to you. Trust me, it's better to be cautious than go through the ordeal of actually having them.
