Child Abuse laws differ from jurisdiction to jurisdiction; however, I find it very unlikely that there's any statute that specifically states, "leave bruises on your child for more than 24 hours".
Most statutes state something similar to "The child is free from cruel and unusual punishment from the parent or guardian". Generally, if you're leaving serious bruises, the child probably IS being subjected to cruel and unusual punishment.
life sentence
It's a federal offense to not pay off your responsibility. If you refuse to pay it off, YOU go to JAIL. So you can choose to leave it in the mailbox all you want, just note that you will go to jail for not paying child support.
can u go to jail for whooping ur child
Who is in jail? If the child is in jail, they have custody. If the adult is in jail, they should never get custody. If the spouse is in jail they should not get custody. Jail would have no bearing on the time of custody, just who should be able to even see the child.
No. If the child is in jail, the custodial parent is not supporting the child. Any amount should be paid to the state if required.
You can be charged with "Child Neglect" or "Child Endangerment" but whether you will actually go to jail is doubtful.
If a person is already in jail, there is no child support owed.
If she is in jail she can not have custody so no, she will not get money for a child she does not have custody of. That money goes to the child's legal guardian.
...you go to jail
