What are you taking it for? (Its used for many different problems but mainly STI's) If its a sexually tranmitted infection I suggest you avoid sex until you have fully completed your prescription.
It should say on the leaflet inside the packet:
• Do not have sex until:
o one week after your 1-day treatment; or
o your 7-day treatment is complete, and
o your sex partner(s) have also been treated, even if their test results are negative.
• Tell your health care provider if:
o you have sex with an untreated partner or
o you have sex before either you or your partner(s) treatment is complete.

Why can you not lie down after taking doxycycline hyclate?
Do not take this medicine just before going to bed. It may not dissolve properly when you lie down and can cause pain in your throat. Drink plenty of fluids while taking this medicine to also help reduce irritation in your throat.

I smoked weed while I was taking doxycycline, Rafampin, and Clindamycin. Never affected my treatment.(: So toke on!

Yes. Be sure to take all of your antibiotic to cure the whole infection and not just part of it.

You can, but it is not recommended.There are no dangerous interactions between them; however alcohol will reduce the effectiveness of the drug.Alcohol also reduces the body's immune system; which is the opposite of what the doxycycline is trying to do. So drinking beer with it is counterproductive.
