that happened to me i took a pregnancy test 2 weeks or maybe 3 after unprotected sex when i first took the test just one line popped up then when i went back it was faintly positive then maybe a week after my late period i started bleeding very heavily and took 3 more test and they where all negative and when i went to my docter i found out i miscarried == == Unfortunately if you test very early you can get a positive hpt then bleed very heavy cause the egg did not take then you can get a neg. cause the baby is no longer there. That is the reason why most doctors do not like to test early. This has happened to a lot of women when they didn't even know it cause they get there period like normal.
As I was once told, "a positive is a positive"The body produced a hormone called HCG only when pregnant.HCG is the hormone that is produced by the placenta during pregnancy. This hormone is what a pregnancy test detects. It stands for Human Chorionic Gonadotropin. During a normal pregnancy, the HCG levels will steadily rise throughout pregnancy.
I have heard both yes and no for this however if you do research into it, its very possible for the test to come back positive because your mind tricks your body into believing its pregnant so the hormone levels will show signs of pregnancy
No Luteinizing hormone is secreted as part of the monthly menstrual cycle. It triggers ovulation and allows retention of the corpus luteum. The hormone secreted during pregnancy is called human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG).
Pregnancy can also be detected through a blood test
If you are using a home pregnancy test, it may be to early to tell if you are pregnant. Wait another week or have your blood levels checked to see if your pregnant. If you received a positive test, your probably pregnant, as the test tests if there is HCG in your system, and you only have this hormone in your system if your pregnant (unless you have some medical issue).
I had an ectopic (tubular) pregnancy, and my home pregnancy test was positive by 5 weeks. I would go to your obgyn and get a blood test. They can check hormone levels to see if you are pregnant, how far along you may be, and if they feel it may be ectopic. Good Luck!
The results of a pregnancy test that measures hCG hormone levels are significant because they can indicate whether a person is pregnant or not. The concentration of the hormone in the control (C) and test (T) lines helps determine the accuracy of the test and whether the pregnancy hormone is present in the body at detectable levels.
You should have a positive pregnancy test during the entire pregnancy. The hormone levels are the highest from 10 to 14 weeks and a home pregnancy test will be the "strongest" positive then.
Estrogen levels vary tremendously when you are pregnant. There is no "set" value for a week of pregnancy just a very wide range. If you are concerned, you should talk to your doctor.
I'm late on my period and having alot of signs of pregnancy. If I'm pregnant with twins would that cause my hormone levels to be lower and cause a negative test?
Yes, if the miscarriage was recent then your hormone levels are still not back to normal and it could cause a false positive result on a pregnancy test.
Yes. The hormone levels have to go up for the test and if they aren't there it will be negative. Sometimes you are pregnant, but there is a problem and a natural abortion is taking place so the test shows negative.
