Experiencing a period a week after your ovulating is a bit too early for a period. However, if you had sex or TTC then its possible it could be Implantation bleeding. Especially if the bleeding is light.

∙ 12y agoNo - because your period is the remains of the lining of the uterus. Since the lining is detached, there can be no egg implanted UNLESS you have an ectopic pregnancy - where the egg implants in the fallopian tube.

During a typical 28 day cycle a woman would be fertile around days 7-16 of their cycle. So after menstruation is likely to be when she is fertile - but obviously it depends on the individual.
