Yes, however during the last month you may have passed what is known as the mucous plug (it covers the inside of the cervix and protects the baby from infection. ) If you have dilated and passed the plug you are better off taking a shower.

At first thought, baths don't seem like they could pose any threat to the mother or baby, but there are a few circumstances to be cautious of.

One of these is to be careful about taking baths in the third trimester - particularly when the cervix has already begun effacing, dilation is happening, and/or the mucus plug has been lost. Because the cervix is now open, it can be vulnerable to infections, most of which can be obtained through a bath because all those germs from the rest of your body (who knows what you touched or got rubbed onto ya) will be floating in the water and enter into the canal.

Showers would be more appropriate during this time, as the water will flow right past, and won't have much of an opportunity to enter. However, installing some no-slip pads into the shower floor is a safety concern, as they will help keep you from slipping due to the extra weight in front of you (your belly) causing awkwardness and unbalance.

Otherwise, ask your doctor what his opinion is. He will give you the green-light based on any high risk issues you may (not) have and how far along you are.
