they won't shift back, they take a while to do that. it took my brother's about 3 months for his to shift cause he didnt wear his retainer
Yes wear the retainer trust me it's worth it.. Your teeth will shift otherwise..
If you don't wear your retainer, your teeth won't start to shift until about a week from when you stopped wearing it.
umm not sure u can...i would just take my retainer off.
a few days
If you where your retainer all day every day for two weeks your teeth will start to shift back to that pretty smile you had when you took of your braces. Though wearing the retainer every night after theres a gap takes a lot longer. A few months even. I suggest if you do not want to wear your retainer during the day. That your wear it every night and every evening that your just around the house or every morning that your just around the house. Unless your in a hurry in the morning to leave to go somewhere keep it in after you wake up. THE LONGER YOU WHERE THE RETAINER IN YOUR MOUTH THE QUICKER IT WILL TAKE TO FIX THE GAP!
It should take them a complete 8-hour shift (at least).
No you only get a retainer.
They have bee known to close up only hours after taking it out, personally i woudlnt take it our for more than an hour, or just wear a retainer if its an appeanrence issue.
To get an Invisalign replacement retainer, first contact your orthodontist or dental provider who originally provided your Invisalign treatment. They can assess your needs and determine if a new retainer is necessary. You may need to schedule an appointment for a fitting, during which they will take impressions or scans of your teeth to create a custom replacement retainer. Once the retainer is ready, you can pick it up from their office.
All retainers should be cleaned properly. You can clean your retainer with a toothbrush, however, we advise using specialized retainer cleaner (or denture cleaner). When brushing and flossing, fixed retainers should be cleaned as well. Additionally, we advise against washing your retainer in hot water to expose it to extreme heat as this could cause the retainer to stretch into a different form.
No. He Can Not. I Know. I Had A Boss Like That And He Did It SO Much That I Quit.
It will probably take 2 years if it's in the correct position, and it's aligned pretty much perfect! But you're not done yet aster you had just taken of your braces you will have to wear a positioner or a retainer. A positioner will help you keep your new aligned teeth into place. So you won't have to suffer crooked teeth again! A retainer is very common. You will get a retainer after you get your braces. (OR) you can where it after the positioner, but you don't have to unless needed! The retainer will securely holds the teeth into it's new place. You have to wear during the night. the orthodontist will tell you when to put on you appliance and when to take off. finally at the end after you have worn your braces, postioner, or retainer it will probably take 3 years to have a perfect beautiful smile! CHEESE!
