Yes they can but it is very rare. I had mine removed when I was 2 but they grew back and caused problems when I was 22 and I had to have them removed again.

Adenoids are glands located at the back of the nasal passage where they help the body fight off infections by trapping germs that enter the throat. They are part of the immune system in children and usually shrink in size as children grow older.
Yes, adenoids can grow back after being removed, though this is relatively uncommon. If adenoids are partially removed or if a person has a tendency for excessive growth due to genetic or environmental factors, there is a possibility they may regrow. In some cases, individuals may experience adenoid regrowth multiple times, which could lead to recurring symptoms. It's important to consult a healthcare professional for evaluation and management if adenoid issues persist.
What??Adenoids are glands that are positioned near the back of your throat, behind your tonsils.I am confident in saying that adenoids do not earn ANYthing an hour.
Palatine tonsils and adenoids are NOT synonymous. Palatine tonsils, sometimes called faucial tonsils, are found at the back of the throat. Adenoids are the pharyngeal tonsils, located in the back of the nasal cavity.
yes
back of the throat near the tonsils
in the back of the throat, near the tonsils.
"Adeno" refers to the adenoids, and "adenoidosis" is inflamation of the adenoids (either of two abnormally enlarged masses of lymphoid tissue at the back of the pharynx that usually obstruct the nasal and ear passages). So I believe "adenotonisillitis" would be tonsillitis with the adenoids infected, too, which can be very painful.
Adenoids
