Yes. This can be due to natural and man made food colouring's in the food or blood. If its the latter medical advice should be sought
The red food coloring in (mostly cheap) red wine combined with the normal brown color of feces = green!
It is most likely that the food you are feeding it with, has red dye in it.
The food you ate.
in the toilet.
The dye in it possibly could.
I am not sure, but my best guess is that they are choking.
