Angina is chest pain due to ischemia (a lack of blood, thus a lack of oxygen supply and waste removal) of the heart muscle, generally due to obstruction or spasm of the coronary arteries (the heart's blood vessels).

Myocardial Infarction is cellular death of the heart muscle due to lack of oxygen, often caused by blockage of arteries.

Essentially angina proceeds a myocardial infarction, both are caused by low/no oxygen reaching some part of the heart

Why there's jaw pain in acute myocardial infarction?

The pain of angina pectoris and myocardial infarction is sometimes referred to the head and neck region. The mechanism for this effect remains obscure. A case is presented here that reports that electrical stimulation of a cardiac branch of the left vagus nerve in humans can cause referred craniofacial pain. This leads to the hypothesis that the vagus nerve plays a role in mediating this pain.
