No ... since it is a sexually transmitted disease, the act of shaking hands cannot accomplish this.


Please research transmission routes. It is highly unlikely, although if the both subject had open wounds which made contact, female subject had saliva, tears or urine on hand there is a possibilty. But very unlikely. Almost negligible.

It would be very difficult. You would have to have open cuts or sores on your hand as would they. And the blood would have to come together.

A normal handshake or hug is not going to transmit the disease unless they are bleeding!

Remember that under ordinary circumstances you would not offer your hand for someone to shake if you have any open sores or wounds on your hand. No reasonable person does this.

In my 64 years I have never shaken hands with someone and gotten their blood on my hand as a result. If it ever happens, I will just wash my hands. Unless I have broken skin on my own hand, which I would never offer to another person in the first place, washing my hands would be sufficient if blood appears.
