it wouldn't hurt to get a tetanus shot, but you definitely need to see a doctor. anytime you have a puncture wound from an animal bite, there is a VERY high chance of get a blood infection that can be extremely serious!!!
if the animal is wild or abnormally vicious, you may need to get a rabies shot. if a human develops signs of rabies, it is too late!
Tetanus cannot be transferred via mouth to blood, due to the fact that tetanus cannot grow inside of the mouth because of the saliva. If one has tetanus, it cannot be transferred to another via mouth. The only possible danger is if your blood comes in contact with theirs in which case you might want to be checked, although chances of gaining tetanus from another person are slim to none and if you are updated on your tetanus shots, then there's nothing to worry about.
no you dont beacause blue tongue lizards cant bite hard
No, unless the hamster has rabies. if the hamster is a household pet, then no. Hamsters rarely bite, anyway.
they suck a person blood who is infected and then bite someone who is healthy
It would be a good Idea to get one just in case. I believe that in some countries (e.g. the UK) there is routine inoculation provided for tetanus.
well no because tetanus is a disease caused by rat or snake bites.. i think it may also be caused by other animal scratches or bites.
I was bitten by a mole a couple of days ago and went to see my doctor today. She recommended a tetanus shot, so I had one.
Someone made a statement that begs someone to ask for more information. That someone responds "OK I'll bite" to imply that they know the person was setting them up to ask, but that they are willing to ask anyway.
no someone can't bite their teeth
If the animal is infected with the rabies virus, yes, a person can get rabies. The animal should be placed in quarantine and the person may have to undergo a series of rabies shots.
