The minimum educational requirement for a school psychologist is a master's degree in school psychology.
it'll probably need a college degree
You'll need at least a four-year degree to become a psychologist. Some positions require even more schooling.
Depends on what you mean by "full" child psychologist. If you want to do therapy with kids, then sure, a masters degree will suffice. For research and therapy, you will have to get a Ph.D.
Do you need straight D's to be a garbage man? No. You can do whatever you want with your life. You just have to have a college degree, so get good enough grades to get into college.
the average time AFTER undergraduate school is 6-8 years to be a psychologist...
If you think becoming a child psychologist is the right career path for you, you will need many years of education after high school. You must have a four year bachelors degree. After that you will need to apply for a graduate program; preferably one that is recognized by the American Psychology Association.
There isn't a AA degree in psychology . That is only 2 years of college and it is all general education classes. To be a working psychologist requires 4-8 years of college ending with a BS/BA at the very least. Generally, a MS/MA is required to work as a psychologist and in some cases a PhD not including the intership. So, to answer your question you would make nothing with a 2 year degree. To do this profession you need 4-8 years of college.
You'll need to attain your B.A., graduate degree in psychology and a doctorate in child psychology.
The minimum educational requirement is a master's degree. However, practicing licensed psychologist (therapy etc), have a doctorate. In addition, research psychologist typically have a PhD.
you need a bachelor's degree (preferably in psychology) and a doctorate degree (either a Ph.D. or a Psy.D.). I'm pretty sure that you will need experience with children throughout the course of your doctorate curriculum. My advise is to go with the Psy.D. program as it is easier to get into and will land you the job that you want without the rigors of a Ph.D. (which requires overbearing research and a messy disertation)! B.A +M.A+PHD
