No, tampons don't soak up your period faster than pads, cups, or any other option. Tampons simply soak up the blood while they are inside your vagina, plus they absorb vaginal moisture too. Your period goes as fast as it is meant to, controlled by your hormones and how long it takes for the uterine lining to shed.
Tampons should soak menstrual flow as long as you are using them correctly. If your tampons are leaking then you may need a higher absorbency than you're currently using. Remember if you use a higher absorbency then use a lower absorbency as your flow gets lower too.
What an interesting idea to think that you can make your period end more quickly by using tampons. That's not the case. The lining of the uterus will come out in its own time whether you use tampons or pads. You did not mess up your body.
Oh you don't want to do that. It is dangerous and that is not the location for alcohol. Tampons only need to be worn when on a period and changed regularly because bacteria builds up that can kill you.

Well, I Should Hope Your Mum Has Had The Talk With You By Now. Lol. But If Not... Basically You Have You Clear It Up So Get Yourself Some Tampons Or Period Pads. Period Pads Lay In Your Knickers , And Tampons Go Inside You. =]
You don't have to use tampons to swim while on your period. You can use menstrual cups and softcups for swimming, as well as safer than tampons cups can be worn with light flow which tampons can't, menstrual cups also don't leak like other options. You can also simply sit-out of swimming while you're on your period, it's up to you what you use and what you do on your period.
Yes, tampons commonly leak.Tampons can only hold so much flow and once they are full they will leak, this is why you use appropriate absorbency and change often to try to prevent leaking. On heavy days most people who use tampons will also use pads or period underwear as back-up to deal with tampons leaking. If concerned about leaking you may want to consider menstrual cups which are internal like tampons but hold more and have light suction do don't leak like tampons.
They use old bed sheets or dish towls torn up. It is agaisnt thier belief to buy any type of tampons.
Im 14 and I have my period, but its not the time of the month yet. Im going away in about 2 weeks, and Im really scared that I'll get it while Im away and I wouldn t be able to go in the beach/pool. How do I get my period faster? And another question is , if I end up getting my period during the vacation, can I go in the water with it? And are there any hacks or tips you have for periods? Also, I don t wear tampons, I only wear the pads.
Your period shouldn't be red. Your period blood should be a brownish-whitish colour. Anyway you should only loose about 2 teaspoons of blood during your whole period. make sure you wear sanitary pads or tampons to soak up the blood and don't be afraid to tell your mom, sister, auntie, cousin or grandma because they have all had it as well. If your period turns red I would contact a doctor.
Yes. because dirt can soak up more water than sand can
Yes, I guess technically you can because it is going up your vagina but you shouldn't use tampons unless you have your period
