Lateral
"Frontal" refers to the front portion of the kidney or any structure, sagittal refers to an imaginary plane through the middle of the body, dividing into equal left and right portions. So to take a sagittal section of the kidney is not usually possible as there is one on each side in humans and they are not near the midline.
The lateral surgical position is where the patient is positioned on their side.... Peace
Yes. The renal medulla is lateral to the renal pelvis. You have the renal pelvis placed lateral to the medulla. The kidneys face to each other lateral to the vertebral column.. The right kidney is situated lower than the left kidney. This happens due to big size of the liver.
medulla

That is good question! Your kidneys are not protected by the skeleton. Kidneys can be readily accessed below the twelfth rib, lateral to the spine.
Coronal section gives better view of kidney than transverse or sagittal section.
A transverse cut of the kidney shows its internal structure, including the outer cortex, inner medulla, and renal pelvis. This cut also reveals the nephrons, which are the functional units responsible for filtering blood and producing urine. The blood vessels and collecting ducts can also be seen, which play a role in regulating blood pressure and maintaining fluid balance in the body.
Kind of.....they are lateral to it on the top (superior) of the kidneys.
The spleen is located in the upper left quadrant of the abdomen, below the diaphragm, and lateral to the kidney. It is an important organ in the immune system, as it helps filter blood and plays a role in fighting infection.
