Generally yes, but if the shop knows what it's doing they will only recommend certain types of jewelry for initial piercings...Only stainless steel 316 lvm should be used or gt-23-ti titanium, should be used for initial piercings...No niobium , no acrylic except the mylar grades originally made for dental work, not even 14 kt. gold, as it is an alloy containing nickel and lead, in %ages to high for initial piercing. No acrylic balls,or glow in the dark balls for the initial piercings....Once it has healed completely, about 30 days normally, you can wear most anything.......Hope this helps.....
A lip ring is a piece of jewelry that goes in a lip piercing. It's usually a hoop.
you can get your lip piercing at age 14 depends on what your parents say about it
Wait 4-6 weeks after getting a lip piercing to change the jewelry in it
Well it's actually a Labret piercing taken from the latin word for lip. A Labret piercing is a piercing in the lip done with a Labret stud, captive bead ring or barbell.
The ring needs to be sized to the lip and placement will be discussed between you and your professional body piercer at the time the piercing is done.
It is better to start off with a normal piercing (just like spikes), since your lip will firstly try to heal and will get bigger. If you start off with a ring there's a risk that when you lip get bigger the ring will stuck in it since the lip will have limited space to expand. It is recommended to switch to the ring a month after you started using the piercing.
If it's a vertical Labret piercing then it's a curved barbell, if it's a standard lip piercing it can be a labret stud or a ring.
Well because it orbits the lip, that's why it's called a lip piercing.
$ 18.95 for the ring however the piercing can cost you from $35.00 ~ $55.00 depending on where you go.
Get a new ring, or if it's just that rings are uncomfortable for you, get a stud.
Uh... Do you mean DAMAGED your lip ring (jewelry), or INJURED your lip (the hole/piercing)? Guessing you mean the latter, but without being able to inspect your lip, people can't help you much.
Depends which part of your lip but they usually say stud at first because of the swelling but they usually ask if you wanted a ring when healed.
