Third stage kidney disease, also known as stage 3 chronic kidney disease (CKD), indicates a moderate reduction in kidney function, with a glomerular filtration rate (GFR) between 30 and 59 mL/min. At this stage, patients may experience symptoms such as fatigue, fluid retention, and changes in urination.
