great question. believe it or not, but the baby state has more bones then adults. it is hard to believe isn't it. but i believe that the bones stretch and some might go away. its hard to believe i know, but you will learn how better than my advice.
We have about 200+ bones in our body, but each bone must be controlled by several muscles. And some muscles do not control bones, for example the facial muscles and the eye muscles. So there are more muscles than bones.
You have 212 bones in your body total (including the ones in your ears) and about 660 musceles in your body, but not exactly because people can't agree what defines a muscle...maybe some of our muscles may end up like Pluto and not be called muscles anymore...but for now, on 4/13/10, there are more muscles.
The bones are dense, porous and calcified tissue that make up the skeleton and are hard/solid. The muscles are organs made of fibrous tissue and are contractile, meaning they can lengthen and shorten.
Muscles develop first. Cartilage forms in place of many bones in the embryo and baby, to make it more flexible on its way out of the womb. The cartilage is then replaced by bones in a process called ossification, and is usually finished by the time the baby is 6 months old. There are 206 bones in an adult body, you have more bones when you're younger. Though, the exact number of muscles is not know, there are a lot more muscles. A rough estimate of more than 600 muscles.
there are 600 muscles in the human body and there are,206 bones in the body
you have 640 muscles and 206 bones. Which means that you have more muscles then bones.

No, muscles are superficial to bones. Muscles are located on the outermost layer of the body and are responsible for movement, while bones form the underlying structure to support and protect the muscles.
