i dont think so. i have that too.
It sounds as though you may be suffering from a mild form of obsessive/compulsive disorder (OCD). If it is causing you problems, or you just want to do something about it, speak with a doctor -- preferably a psychiatrist. He or she will be able to suggest possible treatment. Read more about obsessive/compulsive disorder at the link below.
It might be a very strong superstition, or it could be obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Yes. It can happen and it has happened, but it is very rare. The quantity of water that one must drink to die from hyperhydration is so great that usually only someone with a mental illness, such as obsessive compulsive disorder, could manage to continue drinking water to fatal excess.
This sounds like a symptom of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), where individuals experience intrusive, unwanted thoughts (obsessions) and engage in repetitive behaviors (compulsions) to reduce distress or prevent harm. It is important for individuals experiencing these symptoms to seek help from a mental health professional for proper diagnosis and treatment.
There are many factors that can cause a dog to do this. The two most common that I would look at are: 1-It can be caused by an allergy to something outdoors or something in his food. Talk to a vet about this. 2- It can be an OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) brought on by stress/anxiety and/or boredom. Huskies have a lot of energy and if they don't have anything to do with it they can turn to being destructive to things around them and themselves. This can happen with any high energy breed that has nothing to do. I would talk to your vet about both possibilities.
Obsessive disorders are a kind of anxiety disorder in which one worries constantly about things that may not have been done properly or things that might happen. These people may be overly conforming, perfectionist, or unsure of themselves. They tend to redo tasks if there are any imperfections. They tend to seek approval and need constant reassurance about their performance and their anxieties (adapted from DSM-IV).
Well if you both happen to have a habit of telling compulsive lies then you both have something in common.. Also if you incorrectly type {common} as ¨commen¨, then you definitely both have something in common..
your hands become too raw and sensitive tha they were, it might even be easier for the attachment of pathogens to stay on your skin longer. Remember that the human body has an immune sytem to help fight off pathogens, so hyper cleaning isn't needed
Ahhhh . . . I don't think that is a phobia at all. That sounds a lot like OCD: Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. If you are not hurting yourself or anyone else with your so-called fear, then think of something else every time you get those apprehensive thoughts. It is just a phase in your life - the apprehension will go away by itself, most likely. By the way, I wonder what is the worst thing that would happen if your underwear DID fall off. Presumably, if you were at home, nothing would happen, except perhaps some short-term embarrassment. Presumably if you were outside with other people, wouldn't you have pants on over your underwear? Again, not much would happen, would it?
There is not a single gene responsible for bipolar disorder that has been identified.
There are lots of reasons, it varies from person to person.
OCD or Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is a mental disorder related to anxiety.Definition: Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a mental disorder characterized by intrusive thoughts that produce anxiety, by repetitive behaviors aimed at reducing anxiety, or by combinations of such thoughts (obsessions) and behaviors compulsions. There are different types of OCD such as "watchers" "checkers" "washers" "hoarders" these are just names describing the symptoms. A washer is someone who has anxiety about germs so they will continually wash their hands through the day to relieve their anxiety. If they do not follow this ritual they will experience anxiety or even thoughts (for example) about dying of a disease that is on their hands because they didn't wash them. Many people with OCD count their steps, breaths, or how many times they have to do something. Many with OCD will associate themselves with "good" or "bad" numbers. For exmaple a person with OCD might open a door 4 times because 4 is a good number but 6 is not. They will have to open the door 4 times to let go of their anxiety and if they do not listen something bad will happen (enter any form of fear) to them or someone they care about. There is an irrational thought process for people with OCD not just compulsions. The thought process is what controls the person with OCD.These compulsions do not help with the anxiety only the fear of something bad happening because they didn't listen. Many people with OCD try to hide their compulsions out of fear.People with OCD know these rituals are irrational but have to do them anyways to relieve the anxiety and horrible thoughts in their mind if they ignore it.If you have any of these symptoms please contact professional help. OCD is usually developed in early childhood or teen years and is thought to be passed down in families. OCD is very difficult to deal with on your own and medication and behavior techniques are available with therapy. There is no cure for OCD but techniques to manage it.Good luck.
