It depends on the liar. Some people who weave multiple lies around themselves might get lost in the fantasy that they are real and convince themselves of them. This is more likely to be the case if the lies are to make themselves look better than they are or feel more important. It is less likely in the case of someone simply lying to get out of trouble. For instance if someone lies and says they were at work while they were really cheating on a spouse, its highly unlikely that they believe this lie. But if someone says they are well traveled when they have never left their town, they might, after telling multiple stories about their adventures, start to feel and believe them, themselves.
One set of lies is purely selfish. The other is mainly based on low self esteem.

They get caught up in their own lies.
A person who lies so much that they eventually come to believe their own fabrications is often referred to as a "pathological liar" or "compulsive liar." This behavior can stem from various psychological issues, leading them to distort reality to the extent that they are convinced of their own untruths. Such individuals may struggle with distinguishing between truth and deception, impacting their relationships and self-perception.
A person who lies to themselves or twists the truth is called a 'denier.'
Yes. Due to the malformation of the brain & brain chemistry in pathological people - they believe their own lies, even if it changes 5 minutes later.

Yes, it it fairly common for a pathological liar try to make another person in their lie appear to be the pathological liar. A pathological liar does not like being caught in their lies and may try to set the stage for someone else to take the blame. Some pathological liars believe their own lies and may try to blame someone else for a false statement so that they can continue to believe their own lie.
Yes, my brother is a pathological liar. I started to believe his lies, and began lying to cover up my own insecurities. I began to lash out too.
a liar.....
A person who lies convincingly and artistically is called a pathological or compulsive liar.
Cos their men.
A person who lies convincingly and artistically could be considered a skilled manipulator or a master of deception rather than just a liar. Their ability to deceive effectively does not necessarily make them a liar in the traditional sense, as they may use their talents for personal gain or to manipulate others for their own benefit.
