YOU KNOW THAT'S NASTY. Edit: You know, that's immature.
Real Answer: Every woman is different. It is entirely possible to have your flow seem to stop following sex, without that meaning you are pregnant. Also, the chances of conceiving on your period are fairly slim, and even if you did, I doubt you should see an immediate stop in menses. Your cycle stopping during pregnancy occurs due to the release of a hormone called HCG. You would not be producing enough of it to stop your period a day or two post-sex. Any stoppage is incidental, and due more to physical reasons than biological.
First rule: Period Sex is NOT Safe Sex.
Second Rule: Always ask a doctor, or place a call to Planned Parenthood, when you have questions of this sort. Wouldn't you hate to find that you relied upon some schmuck off the internet and the information they gave you, rather than a trusted medical practitioner, only to turn up pregnant?
Spotting can sometimes indicate pregnancy. But it can also be a period so take a test
If you had unprotected sex you could be pregnant.
Yes, bleeding after sex is not very common, but it does occur in some women. The only way to tell if your pregnant is to take a test. More than likely the bleeding came from the cervical wall. But, yes you could be pregnant even if you bleed after sex.
Let's hope not, because from the sounds of your question, it doesn't sound like you need a baby!
If you don't have sex, you won't get pregnant.
If you are definitely pregnant then contact your DR. Having intercourse during vaginal bleeding will usually stop the bleeding, especially during a period.
No, your period does not stop. I started my period on a Friday, had unprotected sex on Sunday & he did not withdraw, and continued my period as normal. I went to the emergency room the next month wondering what was wrong with me (the thought of being pregnant never crossed my mind) and turns out I was pregnant.
Yes, especially if you are having short cycles. By implantation bleeding, I'm thinking you mean implantation of a fertilized egg in the lining of the uterus. In any case, any time you have unprotected sex you run the risk of becoming pregnant.
this is called implantation bleeding. you are pregnant.
depends how far along you are. could mean miscarriage or that the baby's coming. Or you did it too rough tell him to lighten up
No you have to have sex to get pregnant.
If you have not had sex you know you are not pregnant, it is possible the hormones in NuvaRing are enough to prevent the withdrawal bleeding you had while on BCP. One possible side effect of the NuvaRing is for bleeding to stop completely. You should replace the device on the day it is due, if you have withdrawal bleeding or not. (more information at link)
The only way to garauntee that you don't get pregnant is to not have sex at all.
