yes, fine hair does cause hair loss, try keeping it short to help a bit. No, Completely not. I've had fine hair my whole life and did not have any problem until I was put on Lithium (Depakote is also known to cause hair loss). Check with ur Doctor about any side effects of Meds u r on. To contradict this hair loss I did major research and Biotin kept on coming up as an ingredient in hair loss (it's like a vitamin and actually says on the Target brand Good for Hair n Skin. I talked to my doctor about it and he also suggested Centrum SILVER, and I'm only in my early 30's!! I've been on them for a few months now and my hair seems to be growing just like it used to! sometimes it may be alepshia ariata ( i think that's how u spell it) because i had that hair condition and now my hair is really fine.
