Invisalign is used only for mild malocclusion cases. (Malocclusion is irregular or improper closing of the jaw) Extremely crowded teeth would be too complicated and would take too long to be straightened using this method.
Invisalign works through clear retainers that are replaced about every week with a little change in them to force the teeth to move. If the teeth are extremely crooked, then it will take far too long and be far too expensive to make so many retainers with minute changes in them to align the teeth correctly. It would be far more economically efficient and time-saving if regular braces were used for such a case.

To correct crowded crooked adult teeth you can go to an orthodontist and get braces for the crooked part, but you must first go to an oral surgeon and have some teeth pulled for the over crowded part.
