The follicular phase typically lasts around 10-14 days in a 28-day menstrual cycle. It starts on the first day of menstruation and ends when ovulation occurs.
Usually not, however, everyone is different. Just like period duration can vary in women, both the follicular phase (first half of cycle which includes the period) and the luteal phase (last portion of cycle) can also vary from woman to woman. Ovulation divides the two phases, so if a womans follicular phase is extremely long, and their luteal phase is extremely short, it can be possible to get pregnant shortly before a period would be expected; however, very short luteal phases are considered problematic for fertility and it is very difficult to conceive with a very short luteal phase.
There is no proof that birth control has a long term affect on being pregnant.
The cycle is divided in two periods of unequal length: the phase that precedes ovulation (or follicular rupture) is called the follicular phase whereas the period which follows ovulation is termed the luteal phase.. The length of the follicular phase depends on the velocity of growth of the ovarian follicles and is thus variable from one woman to another. In contrast, the length of the luteal phase depends on the life span of the corpus luteum, it is thus less variable. Cyclones can both positively and negatively affect soil fertility. On one hand, cyclones can bring heavy rainfall that washes away nutrients and topsoil, leading to soil erosion and reduced fertility. On the other hand, cyclones can also deposit organic matter and nutrients from plant debris, improving soil fertility in the long term. Overall, the impact of cyclones on soil fertility will depend on the severity of the storm and the specific conditions of the affected area.

Menstrual flow comes around once a month because that's how long it takes for the menstrual cycle to complete. Menstrual cycle includes menstruation, then follicular phase where eggs in the ovary mature, ovulation when eggs are released, and then the luteal phase when uterine lining plumps-up.
Egg donation typically does not affect your future fertility. When you donate eggs, only a small number of your ovarian reserve is used, and your body continues to produce eggs regularly. After the donation, your hormones will return to normal, and your menstrual cycle will resume. If you’re considering egg donation in Australia, clinics like Central IVF Clinic can provide support and detailed information about the process and its impact on your fertility. It’s always a good idea to consult with a healthcare professional to address any concerns you may have.
