Radiation treatment is such a drastic thing that I'm sure that it affects every part of the body in touches, even vertebral disc material. After all radiation treatment is designed to kill cancerous tissue in the body. Any other tissues affected by the radiation will not as strong but I'm sure they are noticeable in the least. The good news is, according to a friend who has undergone radiation and chemo-therapy is that the body can recover completley. If the discs in the neck have been affected they can probably also recover so long as they are not injured to the point that the disc has been physically changed.

The cause of this SPINOCEREBELLAR DEGENERATION DISEASE is still unknown. But some other people says that if it is an adult person who got this disease he/she might have got this cause of smoking... Celiac disease
Radiation treatment is not a known cause of polycystic kidney disease (PKD) or multiple sclerosis (MS). PKD is primarily a genetic disorder, while MS is an autoimmune condition with complex and not fully understood causes. While radiation can lead to various side effects depending on the area treated, there is no direct link between radiation therapy and the development of PKD or MS. Always consult a healthcare professional for personalized information regarding treatment risks.
