No. The only way to get rid of headlice is to use a treatment from over the counter from your pharmacist.
Chlorine may help kill head lice in water, such as in a swimming pool, but it may not be completely effective. It is recommended to use specialized treatments to get rid of head lice infestations, as they are more reliable in eliminating the parasites.
No it does not
Yes, they can swim Municipal, City and Private public access pools are tested daily under heath regulations. The concentration of Chlorine or Bromine is sufficient to kill lice and other bacteria in the water. So your answer is no you can't get lice from a pool.
I dunno, but I honesty wouldn't try!Chlorine from a swimming pool will not kill lice. They can shut down their respiratory system for over 10 hours. If you put chlorine on your childs hair it isn't safe! You are much better off to put conditioner and olive oil to the head to suffocate the live lice. Then you can immobilize them and comb them out. One doesn't need harsh chemicals to kill lice. They need to be suffocated by something thick, then combed out!All nits must be removed as well or lice will return!www.myhairhelpers.comI'm not sure, but if it does, it would be needed in high concentration which would damage the hair. I read in ascientific journal that blow-dryin your hair can kill lice by drying them up...it might but it will damage your hairYes chlorine can kill the head lice and can even corrode the hairsNo it doesn't. It's probably possible that chlorine could kill lice, but it would have to be in such high concentrations that it would seriously hurt a human. And, unfortunately, lice can hold their breath in water so you can't really drown them either.Well, for one, it depends on how long you are in that pool. If you hang out in that pool for 3 hours, they most likely already drowned. Chlorine itself can kill lice eggs, and lice, but then again, the amount of diluted chlorine in pools, mixed with other chemicals, just leads to only a few actually dying. There isn't enough chlorine in standardized american pools to kill lice.Yes it could because chlorine is to strong for them to handle so eventually they will die.Chlorine from pools will NOT kill lice bugs but it can kill the nits, the lice eggs, because the chemicals are too much pressure so they'll never hatch and die. But the lice will still live.
The chemicals in the pool won't effect the lice. It will take a lot more than that. I recommend buying a shampoo specifically for getting lice out. If that doesn't work, you should talk to your doctor or something. The lice cling onto your hair shaft and don't let go even if your underwater. Actually, you shouldn't go swimming until the lice is away. You may give it to somebody else. I got a lot of this information from answers.yahoo.com.
In the little water pool, in the high deserts, the guards kill Coyotito with a shotgun, in the head.
If your Mexican landscapers let their children swim in your pool while they are working in your yard, ..... your pool has lice.
No, they can't swim.
no not at all, you see lice, nits cant live without human blood for 2 days otherwise they would die, so unless your pool is hairy then yes do clean it!!
Yes, because crabs can accually swim very well. Whoever wrote that is an idiot. It's highly unlikely that lice will spread. Lice hold onto hair and do not let go when submurged. People are constantly losing or shedding their hair. In my swimming pool, I clean hair out of the filter skimmer every day. Who's to say that the person with lice hasn't lost a few hairs that they are holding onto. Will they or could they survive long enough for another swimmer to come in contact with them?
Head lice are pesky little things not many people know why they exist but I am sure there must be some reason. If your trying to get head lice out of your pool try these ideas:1: Try putting head lice treatment in the pool, wait a couple hours and then find a good bucket and scoop the nits out.2: If the first idea dosn't work try asking a profesinal to get them pesky little things out.3: ALWAYS Never let anyone in your pool with nits in thers hair. That sometimes provents it.If none of these ideas work try using another answer or a different website.Tell your friends and family if this works i have never tried it before because I dont have a pool! Thankyou for reading!
