Actually yes it does I know from experience! It helps dry your acne out and shrivel it up so it will be way less red and way less noticable the next day but not only toothpaste will blast that zit off here is a video with the toothpaste answer in it along with others!

All you need is a dab of your favorite toothpaste.

Apply a small amount to your acne spots, zores and zits and leave it on to dry overnight. (Make sure to use an old pillowcase).

You can also substitute toothpaste with baking soda and water.

Rinse it off in the morning, and you're done! Do this 2-3 times a week during painful breakouts
