oogenesis
both polar bodies have the same amount of chromosomes. which would be just diploid so 23, because its a gamete and therefore is half the normal amount. so yeah, 23 chromosomes in the first polar body.

A polar body is a remnant of the production of egg cells, and is potentially capable of being fertilized. While a fertilized polar body could begin growing, there's usually not enough stored nutrients in it to feed the developing embryo.
Gametogenesis is defined as the production of gametes, or sex cells. The two examples would be spermatogenesis (production of sperm in males) and oogenesis (production of eggs in females.)
i would think they just sorta disappear. theres no use for them so...
continental polar
Meiosis produces 4 genetically identical cells. However, in females, this only results in one gamete (called an ovum or egg) and 3 polar bodies which are smaller than the ovum.(In mammals one of the polar bodies usually disintergrates before division, in which case there would only be 2 polar bodies).
The abbreviation for a cold, wet air mass would be cP. This abbreviation when related to weather stands for continental polar air.
I would recommend thick wool, flannel, polar fleece, and shearling.
