Blood circulation occurs in three main steps: First, oxygen-poor blood returns to the heart through the veins and enters the right atrium, then moves to the right ventricle, which pumps it to the lungs for oxygenation. Second, oxygen-rich blood returns to the heart's left atrium, flows into the left ventricle, and is then pumped out to the rest of the body through the aorta. Finally, after delivering oxygen and nutrients to the tissues, the blood collects carbon dioxide and other waste products, returning to the heart to repeat the cycle. At the end of this process, the blood is replenished with oxygen in the lungs, ready to supply the body again.
the three steps of hemostasis are :- (1) vasoconstrictiion (2) blood platelet plug formation (3) coagulation of blood
The human body contains about 5.6 liters of blood. The blood circulates through the body three times in one minute. In a single day, blood travels around the body 19000 km.
The SYSTEMIC CIRCULATION transfers oxygenated blood from a central pump (the heart) to all of the body tissues (systemic arterial system) and returns deoxygenated blood with a high carbon dioxide content from the tissues to the central pump (systemic venous system). The PULMONARY CIRCULATION is where oxygen and carbon dioxide exchange between the blood and alveolar air occurs. The PORTAL CIRCULATION normally is only one capillary bed for each branch of a circuit, however, there are a few instances where there are two capillary beds, one after each other, in series. hope this helps^_^
The three primary cycles of blood in the human body are the pulmonary circulation, systemic circulation, and the portal circulation. Pulmonary circulation involves the flow of blood between the heart and the lungs, systemic circulation circulates blood throughout the body, while portal circulation carries blood from the digestive organs to the liver.
These are 1. Glomerular filtration, 2. Selective re-absorption and 3. Tubular secretion. All these three steps are performed in kidney nephrons.
I know three out of six steps. 1. ? 2. Blood glucose levels increase. 3. ? 4. Glucose is stored in the liver. 5. ? 6. The pancreas releases glucagon. By Group 935[Chris]
