A natural miscarriage usually occurs in the first trimester because the embryo is not viable. Sometimes you bleed and sometimes nothing happens and you wont know until the checkup at the doctor.

A miscarriage may make your back ache and it appears that the pain is coming from your hips, but otherwise no.
If you're not pregnant, then no. It is not a miscarriage. Your period is just screwing up.
If there are remains it can cause an infection, along with other problems that may not be coming from the miscarriage. Best seek advice from your doctor.
