To stretch viscose fabric, you can dampen it slightly with water or a fabric spray, then gently pull and stretch the material by hand while it's wet. Alternatively, you can use a steam iron on a low setting, holding it a few inches above the fabric and lightly steaming while stretching. Always be cautious, as excessive heat or pulling can damage the fibers. After stretching, allow the fabric to air dry in its new shape.
It stretches a bit, but like nylon it can make your balls sweat
i hope not i jus bought a shirt made out of 100% viscose :-s I wouldn't recommend washing it in normal wash. I have a 100% viscose shawl, and it is recommended either hand wash (don't be too hard on it though) and then warm iron it on the wrong side while still damp to reduce the crinkles. Also, you can get it dry cleaned to be on the safe side.
If you had a length of cotton yarn and a length of viscose (or rayon, is another word for viscose), yarn and you were attempting to differentiate between the two, it is tricky. I would suggest that you wet both strands of yarn, and pull them. The rayon will stretch more and be less strong than the cotton. The rayon will also absorb more water than the cotton yarn.
YES
It's the same: viscose
Viscose elastane blends feel soft, smooth, and comfortable against the skin, offering a luxurious drape. The viscose component provides a silky texture, while the elastane adds stretch and flexibility, allowing for ease of movement. This combination often results in a fabric that is breathable and lightweight, making it ideal for casual and active wear. Overall, it offers a balance of comfort and form-fitting qualities.
How do I wash a white viscose rug
Viscose and modal both are semi synthetic fibre, where the modal has more wet strength than viscose and have less shiny than viscose
