You would get pregnant the same way anyone else does: by having unprotected sex. Make sure you always use a condom, which will protect you from pregnancy and STDs. It isn't a bad idea to bring along your own condoms--that way, you are sure of them being in good condition. Buy a lubricated name brand.

If you are purposely trying to get pregnant, give it a wait for six months and investigate how your life will be affected--schooling, jobs, etc. If you still think the same then, take another six months. Babies are cute, but children are hard work.

You shouldn't get pregnant. How do you plan to support your baby? Have you finished high school so that you can work full time and provide for your baby financially? Are you in a stable enough relationship that the father will be there for your baby at all times? Are you ready to give up the luxuries of still being a "teen" without the responsibility of an infant depending on you for everything? You have to understand that this is a life you are talking about, not some small puppy that you can just leave at home when you are ready to go hang out with your friends or leave at your parents house when you move out. This is a life that will be dependent on you for 18 years. It is a selfish thing to do, to get pregnant just because you may feel some "maternal instincts" going on or for whatever reason want a baby at your age. Realistically, you need to wait because you cannot provide for your baby 100% without struggles or having to explain to your baby why he/she doesn't have a dad, or why you cannot buy him things because you don't have the money because you didn't finish college and can support the two of you well enough. I understand wanting a baby, but if you are really ready to be a mom and are mature enough, you will wait so you can give the absolute best for your baby and give him or her a good life of happiness and with as few struggles as possible.
