Candida is actually an overgrowth of yeast that naturally occurs in our gut. The overgrowth is due to many factors such as antibiotic use, pregnancy, stress, gut toxicity, low zinc etc. No - it doesnt usually have anything to do with wiping or drying problems. Yes it can be spread to babies and occasionally partners (but this is not common).
