Im not a doctor but that has happened to me. I was on the pill for 12 years straight and when that happened the doctor told me that simply that pill wasnt working for me anymore. And that he would have to try me on a diffrent type of pill. I think I went through 3 different kinds till I did go off and had my baby. Then when I went back on the pill after, it was again a different pill.
