They will look for certain signs or symptoms of depression such as severe sadness, a feeling of hopelessness or hopelessness, sleep disturbances, eating disturbances, an inability to gain pleasure from things that used to make you happy or even suicidal thoughts. If you feel as though these symptoms closely resemble how you're feeling then depression might be the cause.
