Well, I have ITP also! I had a nos bleed once and what I did was hold my nose with an ice pack. DO NOT TILT YOUR HEAD BACK BECAUSE THE BLOOD IS GOING DOWN YOUR THROAT AND YOU COULD THROW UP! If it doesn't stop bleeding in 20 minutes, contact your doctor. You may have to go to the hospital if your case of ITP is "bad."
