your ibs help you breath because when your diaphram goes up your lungs need room to expand and the lungs help do that :)
Hi, they are helpful because, they can help you breath aswell as protecting your delicate heart.
I'm pretty sure that they help the snake breath by adding and decreasing pressure to the lungs.
Ribs
Ribs house and protect vital organs such as the lungs, heart, and liver. They also provide structural support and help facilitate breathing by expanding and contracting with each breath. Additionally, ribs contain bone marrow, which produces blood cells.
I had this once it was becuase i had Sore Ribs.
allows your ribs to move up and down when you breath the intercostal muscles contract.these pull the ribcage upwards.so the chest increases in volume when we breath out the intercostal muscles relax which lowers the ribcage.the chest decreases in volume see the diagram below for help The intercostal muscles are located between the ribs and they lift the diaphragm allowing oxygen to flow in and out of the lungs. Basically, they aid in breathing.
The normal liver is primarily considered deep to the right ribs. With a large breath, it may also be slightly inferior to the rib cage.
between ribs helps you catch your breath and turn the upper half of your body
The ribs don't do anything when you breathe it's your diaphragm that makes you breathe.
Quite like Asthma, when cracking or fracturing one or more ribs it affects the breathing greatly. This includes shortness of breath (horsiness in the process), troubles sleeping due to lack of breath, may be to the point of vomiting if your lack of breath is severe in which you must seek medical attention immediately. -Chris
Take him to a veterinarian.
The ribs are connected to the sternum through the costochondral junctions, fibrous connections between the cartilagenous tails of the ribs and the bone of the sternum.
