How do you get a Pokemon to breed in HeartGold?

if it is your firt time there, then you will go through ALOT of talking. so you just talk to the day care lady and then she'll ask you if you want her to raise a Pokemon. you say yes and select a Pokemon in your party. then she will ask you if you want her to raise another Pokemon. you click yes and select the opposstite gender of the Pokemon you already have in. and it useully works better and quicker if the two Pokemon are the same type.if they are not, it could taake more then two days. suprisingly in my heart gold my rapidash and luxray had and egg.and when they have an egg the day care man will call you on his poke gear. hope this helps
