you go up to hime, and then talk to him, then go to pallet town (you have to do this on red or blue ON THE SAME SYSTEM YOU PLAY SOULSILVER ON) and once you are in pallet town, talk to your mom, she will give you an old blue sock. go back to blue in soulsilver and talk to him, he will say what would you like to do. 4 options pop up, 1-eat his face. 2-eat his brothers face, red. 3-hug him, and 4-make him eat the sock. Choose 4, he will eat the sock,(thinking it is a guitar pick) and then be gratefull and thank you and all that good stuff, and will do anything for you, ask him to battle you. i hope this was helpful!!! thanks!
