Acupuncture treatment is a great way to overcome insomnia without taking medicine. However, if that's not of interest, you can practice meditation or relaxation/visualization techniques to help calm your mind and ease yourself into sleep. I allot 30 minutes every night before I fall asleep to calmness. During that time, I fully stretch all my muscles and take deep breaths. This helps quiet my mind so my thoughts are keeping me up throughout the night. Whatever you do, DO NOT take medicine without a parent's permission (unless you're an adult). You don't know what's in the medicine and you could innocently poison yourself. Talk to your mom or dad or doctor for advice. If you STILL can't sleep, try listening to soft music. Only your parents or doctor should give you medicine.
